||ADES aims to promote healthy lifestyles by preventing and/or reducing the problem use of alcohol and other drugs through education and advocacy.

Making Decisions - a curriculum-based program delivered in classrooms to grades four through nine.
Parents as Preventors - a prevention program designed to empower parents to influence their children by forming strong family and school connectivity.
Professionals as Preventors - training for educators, police, social workers and those who work with youth.

Tobacco Free Sports - a provincial initiative to reduce the association between tobacco and sport. Includes the development of resources and the website tobaccofreesports.ca
