The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a national public interest organization devoted to the defense of the Bill of Rights. The ACLU is the largest human rights law firm in the world, with over 550,000 dues-paying members and national Offices in New York and California, as well as 53 affiliates in major cities and a legislative office in Washington, D.C. The ACLU handles nearly 6,000 court cases annually.
The Drug Law Reform Project is a division of the national ACLU. Our goal is to end punitive drug policies that cause the widespread violation of constitutional and human rights, as well as unprecedented levels of incarceration
