||Since 2003 the APF in cooperation with TNI has organized the 'Informal Drug Policy Dialogue' an initiative that aims at an open-minded exchange of views on current dilemmas in international Drug policy-making and the discussion of strategies for a more effective policy and practice. Participants at this dialogue are government officials, representatives from international and intergovernmental organisations (UNODC, WHO, EMCDDA, CICAD, UNAIDS) and non- governmental drug policy experts and academics engaged in an open-minded debate about ongoing trends. Up to now four international meetings have been organised. The fifth meeting will be organised this year(2008) in Berlin. (see reports in www.agp.gr )
In the framework of the debates on Drug policy the APF facilitates the work of the 'society of dialogue on drugs' (Omilos Dialogou gia ta Nakotica). The participants (experts on drugs, policy makers and politicians) meet regularly to discuss developments and trends on issues concerning drugs and drug policy and organise seminars on international, regional and national topics as well as public discussions (see also the website of the APF: www.agp.gr
A Youth Work Group formed in 2001 and comprised of mainly university students has completed the project 'Young People and Drugs' (see www.agp.gr Youth Work group).
