Short description:
-Our mission is to provide dynamic leadership for the implementation of activities geared towards protecting the environment, alleviating poverty and securing better social and economic life for the disadvantaged communities through empowering them to depend on themselves and participate in decision making concerning their own problems.
-Our organization restore peace in some parts of Kenya during the 2007 post election violence. The organization has trained South Sudan Police and Sudan People Liberation Army on Human rights, democracy and democratization, community policing, election and electioneering. The organization developed the National Terrorism Contingency Plan for the Office of the President the Republic of Kenya. PHAMA Foundation is carrying a community policing project in South Sudan which has helped stop cattle rustling in cattle raiding communities and also laid ground for disarmament.
