Short description:
House of Hope : Addiction Recovery Institute is a duly registered Non-Profit Organization with the following aims and objectives:
* to carry the message of restoration, deliverance and freedom from substance addiction to the addict who is still bound by substance.
* to link with the resources within communities and to ensure that the affected people are given the chance to regain self-control, inner peace and stability in their lives.
* to provide a care and information centre as well as a support system for the affected individuals and their families.
In line and support of the objectives of the UNODC, the National Department of Social Development’s ‘Ke Moja’ drug awareness campaign, a project termed ‘No More Victims’ is to be implemented by House of Hope : Addiction Recovery Institute. The aim is to instill awareness by educating the youth and the community about substance abuse and its implications. House of Hope is affiliated with the Cocaine Anonymous World Service and our primary goal is to reach the addict who still suffers through the message of Faith, Hope and Courage, thus aiding him/her to stop cocaine and all mind altering substances. Secondarily, it endeavors to get the message and the HOPE of recovery from addiction to the nation at large.
