Short description:
Mission: To protect the integrity of judicial process worldwide using pro bono resources assisted by volunteer service of lawyers and judges. This mission is fulfilled by advancing Rule of Law through programs that support transparency, capacity building and service to the underserved. LWOB attempts a neutral orientation in all of its work.
•Lawyers Without Borders has held consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations since 2004. In conjunction with this consultative status at the UN, LWOB has presented several interactive workshops that relate to our outreach programming in Africa.
•Lawyers Without Borders was granted accreditation with United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI) which has enabled us to be involved with the UN on a more global level.
•Accredited to the United Nations Department of Public Information and the Question of Palestine since 2003.
•In 2008 Lawyers Without Borders was accredited to the Organization of American States.
•Created a legal digest that serves as a tool for judges, lawyers and legislators in Liberia.
