Short description:
The Evangelical Fellowship of Sierra Leone is a faith-based fully accredited NGO with the Ministry of Development and Economic Planning of Sierra Leone (MODEP-SL). EFSL operates as a faith-based organization that covers a wide range of interventions in response to a good number of the MDGs goals. Among others, EFSL networks with CSOs like Budget Advocacy Network (BAN), National Accountability Group (NAG) and Action Aid on Economic Literacy and Budget Accountability in Governance (ELBAG).

Through advocacy, which is one of its key interventions, it seeks to promote good governance at all levels by addressing abuse of power, corruption, and violation of human rights. EFSL is on record for being a strong voice in holding government to task on issues pertaining to national interest. It publishes periodic press statements and puts out position papers. The Advocacy Desk is currently implementing a project on conducting social audits for government line ministries at local level.
