Tacade is a leading not-for-profit charitable organisation working to promote the health and well-being of children and young people locally, nationally and internationally including alcohol, drugs, gambling, homophobia, sexual health and smoking. Increasingly, Tacade works with the more vulnerable, at risk children and young people.
Tacade publications are linked to all the major guidance documents for personal, social and health education in schools and in the youth service throughout the United Kingdom, including PSHE: Personal wellbeing; Drugs: guidance for schools; Sex and Relationships: Education Guidance; Drugs: Guidance for the Youth Service; Personal and social education framework for 7-19 year olds in Wales; Curriculum for Excellence. The publications will also enable schools in England to be Ofsted ready and to meet the Every Child Matters agenda.
Tacades publications have been thoroughly researched, developed and trialled prior to publishing in order to deliver quality, accessible and practical user friendly resources in a variety of formats.
Tacade has worked across the world enabling countries including Belize, Malta, Poland, Slovenia, Uganda and the Ukraine to develop appropriate culturally sensitive health education materials for professionals working with children and young people.
