Short description:
Starting with 2005, ATED has been involved in the fight against corruption and encourages the active participation of civil society and citizens to the monitoring and evaluation of development projects. Their activities include: (i) sensitizing campaigns on the dangers posed by corruption, money laudering and the impunity of actors that commit corruption acts; (ii) working to forge an alliance of CSO focusing on fighting corruption; (iii) lobbying on the provisions of UNCAC and its review mechanism, both with state authorities and other representatives of civil society; (iv) lobbying for the implication of CSO in the review mechanism of UNCAC; (v) supervises the creation of a web platform where important resources related to UNCAC and anti-corruption strategies will be posted; and (vi) anti-corruption press reviews starting with January 2013.
