Short description:
IPES brings police researchers and practitioners together to facilitate cross-cultural, international and interdisciplinary exchanges for the enhancement of effective and humane policing and rule of law.

Main activities:
This organization promotes and organizes annual global meetings, discussing issues that affect societies beyond borders, cultures, genders, beliefs, and race. IPES solicits exchange of knowledge, expertise and techniques among law enforcement and academia. IPES is affiliated to the Police Practice and Research—an international journal. IPES promotes other publications concerning rule of law, human rights, and UN crime preventions standards and norms.

Main achievements:
Multiple publications (journals, books, special issues) regarding best police practices. Conducted police training within universal standards framework of human rights (Sudan), under sponsorship of UN. Held 21ST Annual Meeting, International Police Executive Symposium. Economic Development, Armed Violence and Public Safety in Cooperation with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs NGO Branch., NYC, 2012.
