||NGO Federation of Nepal (NFN) is an umbrella organization of NGOs working in Nepal. Over 5,370 NGOs across the country are members of NFN. NFN, as the leader of Civil Society organization in Nepal, brings CSOs together for anti-corruption drive, good governance, transparency, human rights and pro-poor development. Its mission is to (1) organize and mobilize people to promote a democratic and just society (2) strengthen the NGO movement and promote capacity building processes and (3) safeguard the autonomy of civil society and work as a change agent.
NFN is structured with a Central Executive Committee of 37 members in center, 5 regional committees and 75 district chapters. Some of the major achievements it has made through different campaigns and activities include, the promotion of transparency, recognition of NGO's role in Constitution, contribution in good governance, input in Post 2015 agendas, contribution in social transformation and the promotion of democratic values and human rights.
