||Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) supports government and civil society to take effective, evidence-based action on trafficking for labour exploitation. FLEX seeks responses that prioritise the needs and voice of victims and their human rights. FLEX links migrant and labour rights organisations with the anti-trafficking framework so that victims can gain assistance and support and governments are held accountable for their commitments on trafficking.
Our objectives are:
•Improved awareness and understanding of trafficking for labour exploitation;
•Increased focus on victims and their human rights in anti-trafficking policy and practice;
•Increased understanding of legal rights and obligations relating to trafficking for labour exploitation; and
•Stronger networks and increased cooperation and information sharing among government and NGOs addressing labour exploitation.
FLEX is composed of 3 staff, 2 volunteers, and is overseen by an advisory Board of leading figures in their fields encompassing labour rights, human rights and politics.
