||Advocacy, Research, Training and Services (ARTS) Foundation is a not for profit and an indigenous civil society organization established on January 30.
ARTS Foundation aims to mainstream marginalized and most vulnerable segments of the society in development processes through creating, strengthening and supporting local community groups, organizations and networks to influence policies through advocacy, lobbying, networking and training to promote and protect fundamental rights to empower women, girls, youth and children.
ARTS Foundation in collaboration with British Council has completed second phase of Active Citizens’ Program (ACP) by enhancing capacity of 391 male and female youth since 2012 in four districts including Mirpurkhas, Tando Allahyar, Sanghar and Umerkot.
Along this, ARTS Foundation in collaboration with NATPOW/UNFPA has provided emergency health services to 21,448 women and children through mobile health services units in floods of 2011. ARTS Foundation believes in collective and bottom to top approach. It involves a wide range of stakeholders through organizing community/stakeholders meetings, seminars, training workshops and use of social media as well to raise awareness among masses and influence policy makers.
