Short description:
The “Centre de Recherche et d’Action pour la Paix” (CERAP), created in 2002 by the Jesuit company, is an ivorian research center which are two sections. The thirst one is the university section, which organizes masters and trainings in governance, human rights, conflict resolution and peace building, durable development. The second one, the social section, mobilizes grants to implement national projects in order to promote human rights, democracy and social cohesion. The social section has also responsabilities to strength and to enhance civil society capacities.
CERAP works with international partners (EU, UNDEF, World Bank, AFD, and CCFD), regional partners in Africa (BAD, UEMOA) and Ivorian partners (Fondation Orange). Actually, CERAP (social section) has been designed by the Ivorian government to strength 548 civil society Organizations capacities with the 10th European Development funds.
