Short description:
Mission:FARO contributed to the reduction of drug demand in Colombia through prevention, education, improvement and rehabilitation and prevention of recidivism of criminal behavior.
Main activities:
-Prevention programs specific to the use of drug and alcohol
-Treatment and rehabilitation program for children and teens
-Treatment and rehabilitation program for adults
-Protection and rehabilitation programs for adolescents in conflict with the law in Colombia
Main achievements:
Faro designed a proprietary method based on the evidence that joins community and scientific principles. Furthermore FARO has contributed to the rehabilitation of thousands of people over 30 years of intervention.
Faro has designed and implemented a model of social inclusion for teenagers who graduate from programs for criminal responsibility, and achieved the reduced by more than 60% recidivism in criminal activities.
