UNODC held a corruption casework training conducted by national trainers who successfully completed the training of trainers programme by the International Centre for Asset Recovery, Basel Switzerland. From 13-17 September, Judges, prosecutors and investigators of anti corruption agencies and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) attended this complex, skills based training. The participants were exposed to legal instruments; international best practices; and practical skills required to investigate, prosecute and adjudicate economic and financial crimes cases. Overview of relevant national and international instruments, mutual legal assistance, proving corrupt income and financial analysis trough technology were some of the topics covered at the training.
