Winners have been announced - Click here to know the winners.

UNODC is holding a creative reading competition for youth and children across the Middle East and North Africa! With the Education for Justice (E4J) initiative and the energetic Zorbs alien characters, you can help many children escape boredom during COVID-19 and learn about the values of respect, tolerance, integrity, justice, and fairness!

How to join? Easy! All you have to do is read the “Do It Like The Zorbs” story in your way! You can make a video, a song, an animation, a dance, or any form of art reflecting the story or your favorite part of it!

Like it is for the Zorbs, the sky is the limit!

We want you to speak your dialect and to have as much fun as the children will when seeing you tell the story!

You can find the book and more about The Zorbs in the Fun Corner.

Winners will be chosen based on simplicitycreativity, and passion!

To take part, please send your submission to unodc-egyptfieldoffice@un.org

Alternatively, you can use the same email address to send the video via a file-sharing service such as Dropbox, WeTransfer, or Google Drive by 29 July 2020.

Winners Will

  • Be Awarded A Certificate From UNODC Acknowledging Their Simplicity, Creativity, And Passion;

  • Receive  Selected Zrobs Related Publications And Games Under The E4J Programme;

  • Have Their Submissions Shared On UNODC ROMENA And E4J Website And Social Media;
