Course on legal argumentation in cases of organized crime
San Salvador, December 6, 2019. In order to strengthen the technical capacities of prosecutorial and judicial bodies working in the field of organized crime and corruption, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for Central America and the Caribbean, through the project to strengthen investigative and judicial capacities to combat organized crime and corruption in El Salvador, conducted the second phase of the course on legal arguments in cases of organized crime, from 2 to 6 December 2019.
The training focused on oral argument and presentation techniques and was aimed at judges, police and prosecutors.
This course was taught by four international experts in legal argumentation techniques from Colombia and its content has been included in the curricula of the Prosecutor Training School and the Judicial Training School in El Salvador.
