Documents presented to fight corruption in El Salvador
San Salvador, December 11, 2019. In the framework of International Anti-Corruption Day and in follow-up to the Sectoral Strategy for the Prevention of Corruption in the National Civil Police, the PNC launched the report "Progress and Challenges for the Prevention of Corruption in the National Civil Police (PNC)", a document produced with technical support from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
The objective of this initiative is to have a guiding instrument that collects the conceptual, legal and operational bases that seek to provide guidelines for action to the institution for the promotion of ethics, transparency and integrity and to generate a significant impact on the transformation of the institutional culture and contribute to the professional and personal strengthening of all actors involved in the Justice Sector in the country.
On the other hand, in coordination with the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) and within the framework of International Anti-Corruption Day, the "Corruption Prevention Strategy of the Judicial Branch of El Salvador" was launched.
