Fifth Virtual Session on Regional Cooperation in the Caribbean
Barbados, December 14, 2020. With a view to the next Caribbean Forum against Maritime Crime, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for Central America and the Caribbean (UNODC ROPAN), through the Global Programme on Maritime Crime in the Caribbean, held the fifth virtual session in the Caribbean.
The theme of this session was regional cooperation and 64 people from more than 20 countries participated.
This activity included an analysis of the way in which regional cooperation is carried out; a presentation was given on action-oriented cooperation in the Southern Triangle (Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama) and on the cooperation model of the Regional Security System (RSS) and CARICOM IMPACS.
