Missing Persons Project Provides Training on Criminal Code Reform in El Salvador

El Salvador, 21 February 2020. The Project "Institutional strengthening in cases of disappearances related to organized crime to reduce impunity in El Salvador" conducted a training on reforms to the Criminal Code relating to the forced disappearance of persons, addressed to the heads of the offices responsible for receiving complaints from the Attorney General´s Office and the National Civil Police of El Salvador.


This project also provided training on the same reforms to the members of the local inter-institutional round tables in San Miguel and Usulután, which are made up of the departmental heads of the Office of the Attorney-General of the Republic, the Institute of Legal Medicine and the National Civil Police of El Salvador.

The same seminar was addressed to the members of the local inter-institutional round tables of La Unión and Morazán.
These training courses are funded by the Canadian government.
