Study visit to the Judicial School "Rodrigo Lara Bonilla" in Bogota
Bogota, June 19, 2019. With the objective of strengthening the academic capacities of the Superior Institute of the Judiciary of Panama (ISJUP); UNODC ROPAN, through the project Consolidation of the Criminal Procedure Reform in Panama, made a study visit to the Judicial School Rodrigo Lara Bonilla in Bogotá.
With this visit, the Superior Institute of the Judiciary, takes the first steps towards its accreditation before the Ibero-American Network of Judicial Schools (RIAEJ).
During this visit, the engineer Kitson Castaño Martínez, from the Academic Division, explained about the applications and / or information systems available at the Judicial School "Rodrigo Lara Bonilla" as support for the information.
On the other hand, the Academic Coordinator Dra. Lida Hincapié Gutiérrez spoke about the "Structuring of judicial training plans" and Dr. Johana Arevalo explained about the management of the school budget and the planning, organization, approval and execution of study programs and academic activities.
The Panamanian delegation also visited the Palace of Justice "Alfonso Reyes Echandía", where it was received by Judge Aroldo Wilson Quiróz Monsalvo of the Civil Cassation Chamber and the Magistrate of the Chamber of the State Council, Mgdo. Julio Roberto Piza Rodríguez.
The Judicial School Rodrigo Lara Bonilla is accredited in ISOS standards and by the Judicial Schools Network of Ibero-America.
