Series of virtual conferences on the importance of criminal investigation in the context of the Accusatory Criminal System for judicial and Public Ministry officials
Panama, September 22, 2020. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for Central America and the Caribbean, through the Project to Consolidate the Adversarial Criminal Reform in Panama together with the Higher Institute of the Judiciary of Panama "Doctor César Augusto Quintero Correa" offers from September 22 to October 8 a series of six webinars on the importance of criminal investigation and evidence management in the Adversarial System.
These webinars will be given to a maximum of 100 judicial officials (per session) and the objective of them is to update Victims' Defenders, Public Defenders, judges and magistrates of the Superior Court of Appeals and personnel of the Public Ministry on topics such as: criminal analysis as support of the investigative process, importance of planning in criminal investigations, non-verbal language in the interview, importance of ethics in criminal investigations and its impact on the trial, among others.
