Suspect wanted for human trafficking in Argentina and the Dominican Republic intercepted and arrested

Panama, August 25, 2020. Thanks to the cooperation and information exchange of the AIRCOP groups of Argentina and the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, as an ally country, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the whereabouts of a suspect for the crime of human trafficking for prostitution who was arrested in Miami, United States, were determined.
On February 28, 2020, the Federal Police of Argentina requested the collaboration of the JAITF (Airport Interdiction Task Force) of AIRCOP at Ezeiza Airport, Buenos Aires, to use the AIRCOP network to locate this suspect, of Argentine and Italian nationality, for the crime of trafficking in persons for the purpose of prostitution.
The subject under investigation was transporting the victims from the Dominican Republic to Argentina and, on this last occasion, he departed by land from Argentina to Uruguay to begin his journey through the Dominican Republic and the United States.
As a result of the collaborative work between the AIRCOP groups and the authorities, the Argentine Ministry of Security and the Judicial Branch was able to arrange for the issuance of an INTERPOL red circular, which made possible the extradition and arrest of the subject in Miami and his subsequent extradition to Argentina.
