The project of Consolidation of the Criminal Procedure Reform in Panama and Judicial Authority of Panama conducted a training for judicial officer of municipal jurisdiction of the Third Judicial District of Panama
In order to consolidate the implementation of the Adversarial Criminal System in the Third Judicial District of Panama, which includes the provinces of Chiriqui and Bocas del Toro, and Gnöbe Bugle
Comarca, the Consolidation of the Criminal Procedure Reform in Panama" and the Office of Implementation of the Adversarial Criminal System, of the Judicial Authority of Panama, conducted the training based on simulated hearing for judges, public defender, defenders of victims, prosecutors and officers, whom work in municipal jurisdiction.
This academic activity includes training sixty (60) judicial officers, whom need to enhance their skills in management of hearings and litigations, considering that the Criminal Procedure Law contemplates the oral trials in municipal jurisdiction and exceptionally, hearings in relation of precautionary measures or investigation acts which affect human rights and guarantees.
This training session will be held in the training room of the old Superior Court located in the City of David, Chiriqui, and will be addressed to two groups of participants, through two modules comprising from January 25 to February 5 and from February 15 to February 26, 2016.
