UNODC in El Salvador Commemorates Safer Internet Day

In the context of Safer Internet Day commemoration, celebrated this year on February 7, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Global Programme on Cybercrime, participated on an interview on the radio program "Opening Doors" (Abriendo Puertas), which is produced and broadcasted by YSUCA radio station in El Salvador.

In the radio program, UNODC was represented by Ms. Nayelly Loya, Deputy Country Manager, UNODC Programme Office for El Salvador and Project Coordinator in El Salvador, UNODC Global Programme on Cybercrime and Mr. Carlos Rosa, Project Associate in El Salvador, UNODC Global Programme on Cybercrime.

The objective of the interview was to inform the Salvadoran population about the most common risks found on the internet, to provide recommendations on best prevention measures when using the Internet, and to interact with the audience in order to answer questions on this topic. Radio listeners had the opportunity to call the station or send their questions through social networks.
