Women deprived of liberty showed off the "Integrarte" garment collection to their families
Relatives of women deprived of liberty from the Women's Rehabilitation Center of Panama City (CEFERE), had the opportunity to experience a catwalk of the garments of "The Ethnic Paradise" collection of the recently launched brand "IntegrArte".
The event was held in the auditorium of CEFERE where women prisoners showed off the designs produced in the "Workshop of Freedom". This time, besides the dresses of "The Ethnic Paradise" collection, three new designs were prepared and launched for its very first time.
In recognition of the work and commitment demonstrated by these women, UNODC through Project SECOPA jointly with the Ministry of Government of Panama awarded participation certificates for each one of them, as well as items for their health and personal hygiene.
The activity included the participation of women working in the sewing and molas workshop, those who paraded the collection, as well as the writers of the book "In this place."
The activity was organized by SECOPA Project, implemented by UNODC with funds of the European Union and the Directorate General of the Prison System of Panama.
