Regional Workshop on "Developing an Integrated Approach to Maritime Security through the Counter-Terrorism Conventions, Criminal and International Law: Legal Perspectives, Capacity Building"

Singapore, 9-10 June 2009 - The workshop was held for ASEAN Member States, as a part of TPB Global Project on "Strengthening the Legal Regime against Terrorism", to support the ratification and implementation of the universal legal instruments against terrorism, particularly maritime security instruments. Participants are the government officials from law enforcement and criminal justice agencies dealing with issues on maritime security and proliferation of nuclear weapon.

Co-organized by UNODC/TPB and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore and S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) of Nanyang Technological University.
