Drug Precursors Training for Port Control Unit at Vrbnica/Vermice

29 November-2 December 2022, Pristina, Kosovo[1]: The UNODC-WCO Container Control Programme (CCP) organized a Drug Precursors training for the officers of the Kosovo Customs, as part of efforts to support South-Eastern Europe in effectively responding to new trafficking routes, chemicals, drug types, improvised explosive devices (IED), concealment methods and different modus operandi used by drug traffickers, including through the use of risk analysis and risk indicators to detect and deter smuggling activities. The training’s theoretical segments were followed by hands-on exercises for an interactive training environment.

The training was delivered within the EU-UNODC joint action on enhanced border control, currently implemented in South-Eastern Europe by CCP and the UNODC-WCO-INTERPOL Airport Communication Project (AIRCOP) in cooperation with the UNODC Regional Programme for South Eastern Europe and funded by the European Union.
