At its 1660th meeting, on 24 March 1970, the Council took note of the interim report prepared by the Secretary-General on technical assistance in the narcotics field26/ under General Assembly resolution 2434(XXIII) of 19 December 1968 and decided to transmit it to the General Assembly at its twenty-fifth session.
