Thematic Discussion

THEME: Addressing new, emerging and evolving forms of crime, including crimes that affect the environment, smuggling of commercial goods and trafficking in cultural property

The thematic discussion will be held under the overall theme, without subthemes.

Speaking time for panelists is 5 minutes, for all other interventions 3 minutes. All pre-prepared presentations and/or statements should be sent in advance to unov.conference@un.org.

The discussion should be interactive, participants should ask questions and make reference to the presentations provided by panelists.

The session will be held in person, with interpretation into the 6 official UN languages. The discussion will also be livestreamed in the 6 official languages via UN WebTV.

All INDICO registered participants will receive access information to the event platform to their email address. Guidance on participating in hybrid meetings is available also on the CCPCJ website.

The outcome of the discussion will be a Chair’s summary of the salient points raised, which will not be subject to negotiation.
