11 September - 12 September 2017 - CRIMJUST participated and delivered a presentation during the meeting of Iberoamerican Network of anti-drug prosecutors (RFAI) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
During the meeting in Rio de Janeiro, prosecutors from Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Santo Tomé and Principe, and Uruguay came together to strengthen international judicial cooperation practices and agree on a common action plan for 2018.
In order to foster interregional cooperation, CRIMJUST actively seeks to support existing networks of judicial cooperation. During the meeting, CRIMJUST presented the regional initiatives to fight drug trafficking and related organized crime and explored avenues to further increase the cooperation with the network. It was agreed to streamline join future initiates between CRIMJUST and RFAI.
