12 May 2017 - 1200 delegates from around the world will come together in Montreal, Canada from 14 to 17 May 2017 for the 25th Harm Reduction International Conference organized by Harm Reduction International (HRI) together with Association des Intervenants en Dépendance du Québec (AIDQ).
The theme this year is 'At the Heart of the Response', with a corresponding programme sharing experiences and lessons learnt from innovative harm reduction services, new research findings, information about effective advocacy campaigns and key policy discussions, including on HIV, hepatitis C both in the community and in prisons.
UNODC is proud to take part and to support this important global event in participating in the programme development through the Executive Programme Committee, providing scholarships to speakers in the conference, supporting a delegation of 15 conference participants, representing both partners in the field and UNODC staff, in addition to organizing and contributing to several sessions of the conference.
