On 1 June 2020, the General Assembly adopted resolution 74/276 on convening a special session on challenges and measures to prevent and combat corruption and strengthen international cooperation from 26 to 28 April 2021, at United Nations Headquarters, in New York.

To reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 to those working at the United Nations in Vienna and to comply with the measures taken by the Austrian authorities, personnel of Vienna-based UN organizations, including the staff of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime are working remotely or at home.
