November 15th 2024 marks the 1st International Day for the Prevention of and Fight Against All Forms of Transnational Organized Crime—a pivotal moment to spotlight the collective efforts of governments, international organizations, and non-governmental stakeholders in tackling this pressing global challenge. As part of this campaign, the UNODC Civil Society Unit has partnered with non-governmental stakeholders to showcase their critical contributions. Through a series of engaging short videos, these organizations share insights, practical tips, and real-world actions that highlight their role in combating transnational organized crime.
We extend our gratitude to the many organizations that took the time to contribute to this initiative. Your dedication and efforts inspire action and demonstrate the collective power of civil society. While only a small selection of the submissions is featured here, every contribution plays a vital role in raising awareness and driving change. More stories and contributions can be accesed via WhatsOn, UNODC's multi-stakeholder knowledge and networking platform. If your organization is not yet part of WhatsON, we encourage you to join.
We invite you to explore these inspiring videos and join the conversation on social media. Let's pull together to push back and stand united against organized crime. #StopOrganizedCrime
