In its resolution 9/1, as well as in the Procedures and Rules annexed to it, the Conference of the Parties requested the Secretariat, in close consultation with and reflecting inputs from States parties, to further develop the knowledge management portal known as Sharing Electronic Resources and Laws on Crime (SHERLOC) in line with the requirements contained in the Procedures and rules.
Under the Global Programme to Support the Mechanism for the Review of the Implementation of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the Protocols thereto (GLOW97), UNODC has developed
REVMOD, a user-friendly browser-based secure module of SHERLOC.
REVMOD is the primary platform for the country reviews, allows and facilitates nearly the entire process – from filling in the questionnaires to drafting the summary of the list of observations, as well as allowing the State party under review and its reviewers to maintain a constant dialogue in full confidentiality.
REVMOD allows most of the country review process to be conducted online.
