Happening today! This year's Youth Forum 2022 takes place online from 28 February to 4 March, bringing together young people from around the world to strengthen their knowledge in substance use prevention and subsequently provide a positive change in their community.
Beyond that, the Youth Forum pursues a number of other goals. It is a platform for youth to engage with other global young leaders share ideas, visions, and different perspectives on how to better protect the health and well-being of their peers under Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3.5. Through the 5 days of the event, the youth will be given great opportunities to network, exchange ideas, and continue their personal growth.
In order to best prepare for the event, participants have been diligently completing weekly pre-Forum activities, which have allowed the youth to get to know each other, and start getting acquainted with science-based drug use prevention. It is our hope to Educate, Engage with, and Empower the youth attending the Youth Forum, and for youth to have felt at least one ‘Aha moment’ during the week.
We would like to thank the following Permanent Missions who nominated youth to participate in this year's Youth Forum: Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Egypt, El Salvador, Ghana, Jamaica, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Norway, Pakistan, Palau, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, SMOM, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tunisia, Turkey, USA, Venezuela
