BUILDING FORENSICS CAPACITIES IN ECOWAS COUNTRIES

The programme aims to strengthen the forensic work in ECOWAS countries and will provide an efficient and sustainable technical support to West Africa Forensics services and support the creation of a Network that will seek to promote fluidity and reliability to the Law Enforcement results. A two-experts team in forensics is responsible for its implementation. 

 

Capacity Building on:

Crime Scene investigation

Document examination

Forensic awareness

Drug and precursor analysis
Computer forensics

 

Field missions for evaluation of Forensics capacities, training and mentoring, regional conference, study tours, technical assistance, international collaborative exercises, provision of basic equipment, protocols of handling evidence.  

 
 

Partners: Police, Gendarmerie, Judiciary, Lawyers, first responders, laboratories providing forensic services

 

Targeted Countries : Nigeria, Niger, Senegal, Benin, Guinea- Bissau, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire
