CORRUPTION
UNODC supports national authorities to fight corruption more effectively through the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), including through legislative, policy and institutional assistance, as well as by raising awareness of anti-corruption issues among citizens and civil society. Following the UNODC's request for assistance in implementing the Convention, workshops were held to adopt a roadmap for the implementation of the UNCAC, and training was provided on the review mechanism and international cooperation.
COMBATING NATURAL RESOURCE CRIME
UNODC is committed to the protection of the environment and the rule of law in Chad through the regional project to strengthen the capacity of law enforcement, prosecutors, and the judiciary and cooperation among ECCAS member states to combat wildlife crime and illicit trafficking in natural resources. UNODC is also implementing a Chad-Cameroon cross-border project to train youth in the principles of peace and cooperation between border communities, raise awareness on transnational organized crime, and identify alternative income-generating activities.

TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS AND SMUGGLING OF MIGRANTS
UNODC builds the capacity of governments and civil society to identify and combat trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants by targeting criminals, while effectively protecting and assisting victims of trafficking and irregular migrants. UNODC's PROMIS project aims to strengthen the capacity of States to develop a human rights-based response to migrant smuggling and to respond effectively to human rights violations related to irregular migration.
