Interview of UNODC Regional Representative for Central Asia in the observance of the World Day against Trafficking in Persons.

Ms. Ashita Mittal, UNODC Regional Representative for Central Asia was interviewed by a journalist of O’zbekiston 24 TV channel and answered the most pressing questions on combatting trafficking in person and the role of UNODC in addressing this issue. They discussed: 

  • The current situation around Trafficking in Persons (TIP) in Central Asia and Uzbekistan. The roles governments play in addressing this issue;
