Ms Anubha Sood

Anubha Sood is the UNODC Representative in Afghanistan. She has over two decades of extensive professional work experience in development and humanitarian settings. She worked with many national, international organizations and the United Nations across Caucasus, the Middle East, East Africa, and South Asia.

Over the years she has contributed to establishing viable and sustainable livelihood options for the most vulnerable, through her work exploring alternate models and partnerships between non-profits, businesses, the private sector.  Her wide experience and ability to build partnerships has equipped her to work across a range of sectors and aid instruments, guided by the principles of aid effectiveness. She has demonstrated her leadership abilities, political acumen, and strategic engagement skills, in high profile, complex and volatile country contexts, as seen through her work in Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Iraq.  Ms. Anubha Sood holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science; Master of Arts from the Delhi University and Bachelors in Applied Psychology from the Delhi University.
