Secretary-General introduces new Executive Director of UNODC

3 September 2010 - At a media encounter at the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs yesterday, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon introduced Yury Fedotov, the new Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna and Executive Director of UNODC.

"I have chosen him because of his strong commitment to the United Nations cause, his credentials, expertise and experience as the distinguished former Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia and also Russian Ambassador to the United Kingdom," said Mr. Ban. ((Read more...)...)
