UNODC research constitutes the key global authority in the fields of drugs and crime, providing high-quality, essential evidence to inform policy-making and valuable sources of knowledge in drugs and crime domains, including in the framework of the Sustainable Development Agenda. The UNODC Information Centre supports UNODC Research in the Central Asia and in Afghanistan.
Our research strives to build shared knowledge on drugs and crime threats that generate and affect the region make people safer globally and locally. By working together and supporting everyone who can help achieve this goal, we present facts in a timely, accurate and transparent manner, and provide reliable and impartial evidence for better policies. We strive to produce research that is both informative and actionable, distilling the intricacies of analytical processes and products that seamlessly integrate various data modalities, with a particular emphasis on innovative geospatial information systems.
