On the occasion of the travel to Tirana of Mr. Raffi Gregorian, Director and Deputy to the Under-Secretary-General at UNOCT, and with the objective of promoting ICSANT, UNOCT organized high-level meetings with the State Minister for Relations with the Parliament, the Vice Speaker of the Parliament as well as the Head of the Majority Party of Albania. All interlocutors expressed their commitment towards the ratification of the Convention and praised the organization of the advocacy event for Parliamentarians, to be held on the same day within the framework of the ICSANT project. These meetings followed a series of meetings with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice where Mr. Gregorian also underlined the importance of the Convention.
