Gulzhaz holds a Master's degree in Information Sciences in Business and Marketing, Autonomous University of Barcelona. She worked with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Barcelona. Before joining UNODC she worked for UNDP in the Green Economy project and the EU funded project on "Civil Service Reform and Modernization of the Government of Kazakhstan". She has more than 9 years experience in international organizations.
