Marhabo Jonbekova is a crime prevention and criminal justice professional with over 14 years of field experience in programme management and implementation. At UNODC, she substantively contributes to the development and implementation of Sub-programme 2 and donors/counterparts coordination in Tajikistan.
Marhabo Jonbekova holds a Master degree - Diploma with Distinction in Economics/International Economic Relations from the Khorog State University, a Master of Science with Policy concentration from Columbia University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Planning and Management from Bradford University.
She has extensive work experience with various international organizations and programmes, including 10 years with UNODC. Prior to UNODC, she worked in various capacities with the Aga Khan Foundation, Open Society Institute and the Embassy of the United States of America in Tajikistan.
