نحوه تأثیر محدودیتها و آثار اقتصادی ناشی از کووید-19 بر قاچاق مهاجرین و موارد فرامرزی قاچاق انسان به سوی اروپا و آمریکای شمالی
بحران بی سابقه ای که در پی شیوع بیماری کووید-19 در جهان ایجاد شده، تمام جنبه های زندگی اجتماعی را متأثر نموده و به نظر می رسد که مسیرها و مختصات مهاجرت متعارف و غیرمتعارف را نیز تحت تأثیر قرار دهد. قاچاق مهاجرین و قاچاق انسان نیز به شیوه های مختلف از این بحران تأثیر می پذیرند. این پدیده های مجرمانه همواره از عوامل متعددی متأثر می گردند: عواملی از قبیل تحولات سیاسی و امنیتی در سطح بین المللی، محرکهای اقتصادی-اجتماعی کلان، و قابلیت های دستگاه های انتظامی کشورها، که همگی در پی همه گیری جهانی بیماری کووید-19 متحول گشته اند. همانطور که آثار کووید-19 و اقدامات دولت ها برای مهار آن متفاوت بوده، به نظر می رسد که تأثیر این اقدامات و محدودیت ها بر قاچاق مهاجران و تجارت انسان نیز، در کشورها و مناطق مختلف جهان جلوه های گوناگونی داشته باشند.
این خلاصه تحقیق، سناریوهای ممکن در خصوص چگونگی احتمال تأثیر بحران کووید-19 بر قاچاق مهاجران و انسان در طول مسیرهای مختلف منتهی به دو مقصد آمریکای شمالی و اروپا را مورد تحلیل قرار می دهد.

گزارش جهانی قاچاق انسان سال 2018 قاچاق انسان در درگیری های مسلحانه را در مرکز توجه قرار می دهد. قاچاق انسان همیشه یک جرم است که با هدف بهره وری ارتکاب می شود؛ در درگیری هائی که با خشونت، وحشیگری و تهدید و اجبار همراه است، قاچاقچیان با معافیت بیشتری می توانند عمل کنند. قاچاق در درگیری مسلحانه ابعاد وحشتناکی به خود گرفته است - کودک سرباز، کار اجباری، بردگی جنسی.
بر اساس گزارش جهانی امسال، تعداد کل گزارش شده قربانیان قاچاق افزایش پیدا کرده است. این ممکن است بدین معنا باشد که افراد بیشتری قاچاق می شوند، اما همزمان نشان می دهد که ظرفیت های ملی برای شناسائی جرم و قربانیان نیز در بعضی کشورها ارتقا یافته است. در آسیا، قاره آمریکا، آفریقا و خاورمیانه گزارش های مربوط به محکومیت های ناشی از قاچاق انسان افزایش یافته است که نشان دهنده افزایش تعداد قربانیان گزارش شده است.

The Handbook on Effective Police Responses to Violence against Women
This Handbook is a UNODC publication designed to assist police officers by familiarizing them with relevant international laws, norms and standards relating to violence against women and informing them about some promising practical approaches to effective police response to acts of violence against women. It is accompanied by a Training Curriculum for those who are involved in police training and development. Gender in the criminal justice system assessment tool
Identifying and understanding the realities of women and men in the community as well as the gender biases that may promote discrimination, limit access to justice and prevent women's full participation in the criminal justice system underpin any assessment of the criminal justice system and should inform all recommendations for technical assistance. Within this framework, UNODC has designed the "Gender in the criminal justice system assessment tool" to help guide the assessment of gender in the criminal justice system.
