UNODC - June 2016: The UNODC Laboratory and Scientific Section released the first issue of the Information Bulletin for Latin America and the Caribbean, a new publication format of the Global SMART Programme. This issue presents data on seizures and use of NBOMe compounds in Chile, and discusses whether an increased use of LSD could be linked to the emergence of NPS with hallucinogenic effects. The Information Bulletin, available in English and Spanish, is expected to be published at least twice a year. The publication provides concise updates on synthetic drugs and NPS in the region by highlighting specific topics of interest.
