UNODC – April 2017: Recently there has been an increasing number of central nervous system depressants, in particular benzodiazepines, appearing on the NPS market. Of late, a number of such substances have been placed under national control in several countries, including:
- Denmark (clonazolam, deschloroetizolam, diclazepam, flubromazepam, flubromazolam, metizolam, nifoxipam, and pyrazolam)
- Finland (clonazolam, deschloroetizolam, diclazepam, etizolam, flubromazepam, flubromazolam, meclonazepam, nifoxipam, and pyrazolam)
- Republic of Korea (diclazepam)
- Sweden (adinazolam, cloniprazepam, zapizolam, desmethylflunitrazepam, and flunitrazolam)
- Switzerland (clonazolam, deschloroetizolam, diclazepam, etizolam, flubromazepam, flubromazolam, nifoxipam, and pyrazolam)
- Turkey (adinazolam, deschloroetizolam, diclazepam, flubromazepam, flubromazolam, meclonazepam, and pyrazolam).
- United Arab Emirates (diclazepam, etizolam, flubromazepam, and pyrazolam)
