SANTIAGO, Chile – April 2015: On 30 March, the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security in Chile added 51 NPS to the list of controlled substances included in article 1 of the Decree N° 867 of 2007 (Law N° 20.000) that governs the illicit traffic of narcotic and psychotropic substances. In detail, the NPS placed under control include 41 phenethylamines (out of which 36 are NBOMe compounds), 5 synthetic cathinones, and 5 tryptamine related substances, namely:
Phenethylamines:
25C-NBOMe, 25I- NBOMe, 25I- NBOH, 25H-NB2OMe, 25H-NB3OMe, 25H-NB4OMe, 25B-NB2OMe, 25B-NB3OMe, 25B-NB4OMe, 25C-NB2OMe, 25C-NB3OMe, 25C-NB4OMe, 25D-NB2OMe, 25D-NB3OMe, 25D-NB4OMe, 25E-NB2OMe, 25E-NB3OMe, 25E-NB4OMe, 25I-NB2OMe, 25I-NB3OMe, 25I-NB4OMe, 25N-NB2OMe, 25N-NB3OMe, 25N-NB4OMe, 25P-NB2OMe, 25P-NB3OMe, 25P-NB4OMe, 25T2-NB2OMe, 25T2-NB3OMe, 25T2-NB4OMe, 25T4-NB2OMe, 25T4-NB3OMe, 25T4-NB4OMe, 25T7-NB2OMe, 25T7-NB3OMe, 25T7-NB4OMe, DOC, DOI, PMMA, MBDB, BDB;
Synthetic cathinones:
2C-T, 2C-T-2, 2C-T-7, 2C-C, 2C-I;
Tryptamines:
4-HO-DIPT, 5-MEO-DMT, 5-MEO-MIPT, 5-MEO-DALT, DIPT.
Since 2014, 72% of reported substances from Chile to the UNODC EWA were phenethylamines, compared to 11% synthetic cathinones and tryptamines and 6% synthetic cannabinoids.
